It has several advantages such as being easy to handle and the glass doors can be used without a floor guide rail. The weight of the 10mm glass is around 27kg/mq. This means that the slabs or beams to where the Gm system is attached can handle a substantial load. Normal masonry or medium size wooden beams are sufficient for this weight. The Gm System fixtures were developed to be very robust and in fact were designed to help to distribute the weight of the glass doors on the ground or at the sides. |
