Partitions can be transparent, opaque or decorated.The project for the Hotel Bussola d’Orta in San Giulio (NO) was a partition for the reception room made from around 8 metres of folding glass panels decorated with Tree bronzed finish glass from the Omnidecor line. The central doors are also equipped with handles and when the moveable wall is closed, it acts as a transition between the 2 dining rooms.

The folding glass panels can be used without a floor guide rail up to a maximum of 4 panels (or 8 including both sides). The Giemme System, when installed as a moveable wall partition, ensures a good level of sound insulation. In fact, the 10mm tempered glass has a noise reduction capacity of 33/35 db. The transparent H seals between the individual panels create a single wall which shelters from the weather and external noise. This is excellent if we consider for example a 10cm plank, whose sound absorbency is approximately 41 db or a 20cm wall with a sound absorbency of 48db. |

The recessed rail and the best lighting Building spot lights into the ceiling is the best way to emphasize the decorated or transparent Giemme System partition. Also the top support rail can be recessed to create a more aesthetically pleasing product. A good idea is to put LED lights behind frosted glass. The result will create beams of coloured lights that radiate onto the glass. |
